Fall 2026 Life Bible Study
Hi ANF Family, Let’s follow the beautiful example of the early Christians who were devoted to learning and following Jesus’ teachings. Taking Bible study classes is essential for a Spirit-led life because God speaks to us directly through the Scriptures. I hope you will choose to take one of our classes this semester with deep devotion and commitment.
Job Opening
Hi ANF, Job Opening: Clinical Research Data Associate We are currently looking for a new team member for a Pediatric Cancer Clinical Research Associate position. This is an entry-level data entry role. Requirements & Qualifications: Background: While a science background is helpful for executing the tasks, the specific major is not the most important factor. We are primarily looking for someone who is diligent and sincere.
Lay Leaders Seminar Volunteers
Hi ANF Family, Most of you are likely in bed by now. If you are feeling physically or mentally exhausted—if there are any "scars" left on your body or mind—I hope you can see them as the marks of Jesus Christ. Just as Paul confessed in Galatians, "I bear on my body the marks of Jesus," may you see your weaknesses—as we shared during Sunday worship (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)—as a testament to your love and sacrifice for God’s church.
2026 House Church Seminar
Hi ANF family, The House Church Lay Leaders Seminar officially starts tomorrow. However, looking back at all our preparations, it feels like our journey began a long time ago. Some participants have already arrived, and our members are already
De Imitatione Christi
Hi ANF, There are many emails piling up in my inbox that are waiting for me to read and respond to, but lately, it has become much more difficult for me to keep up. Due to worsening eyesight and the progression of macular degeneration, there are many things I am no longer able to do as I once did. Because of this, I may not be able to attend the prayer meeting this evening.
2026 Ministry Guide
Hi ANF Church, Thank you so much for your heart and willingness to serve in the ministries of ANF as we seek to build up His church together. I am truly grateful for each of you. Before we announce the ministry assignments for the next two years, I would like to share a few important thoughts and encouragements.
Winter Storm
Good morning ANF Family, You may have already heard from your shepherd that due to the winter storm, our Sunday worship service tomorrow will be held online only via Zoom at 11:00 AM. The Zoom link will be shared later. Even though we cannot gather in person, I encourage you to prepare your heart in the same way you would if you were coming to church. Sit together with your family and children before the screen and enter worship prayerfully and expectantly.
Life Bible Study
Hi ANF Family, Life Bible Study is one of the three main axes of our church, along with Sunday Worship and House Church. It plays a vital role in helping us grow as disciples of Christ. For Spring 2026, we are offering the following classes: Living Life, Experiencing God, Growing Life, Biblical Finance, Married Life, Campus Bible Study
2026 Prayer Request Form
Hi ANF family, Now that our New Year Prayer and Fasting has come to an end, let’s continue to grow in our prayer life—fixing our eyes on Him, seeking His heart, will, and plan, and inviting Him into every part of our lives. Let us continue to behold Him and wait for Him. Thank you to everyone who shared, led praise, joined us in person, and also those who prayed with us wherever you were.
New Year’s Prayer & Fasting
When I was praying during the second day of our New Year Prayer and Fasting, God reminded me of a story in the Bible. In Acts 2:1-4, the disciples were waiting for the promise of Jesus: “I will send you the Helper.” While they were praying together, the day finally came, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.
How To Prepare The Opening Prayer for Sunday Corporate Worship (Updated Jan 2026)
Hi ANF Family, As we begin a new year with a renewed heart for worship, I believe it would be good to share something I wrote in September 2022, which is available on our website. Below is an updated version How to Prepare the Opening Prayer for Sunday Corporate Worship
2025 Retreat
Hi ANF Family, I hope you are all having a wonderful time at the retreat. Personally, I was deeply moved by our guest speakers’ testimonies—they were powerful, inspiring, and truly touching. They showed us a beautiful example of what it means to walk with “long obedience in the same direction.” I pray that your hearts were stirred as well, and that even a small spark that was lit in you will continue to grow as you take practical steps to keep the flame from quickly fading.
ANF’s 7th Anniversary
Hi ANF family, do you know what today is? When I woke up this morning, I didn’t realize it. Last night I struggled with a fever—my body was trembling and aching. But when I received a text message, suddenly all the memories of the past seven years flooded my mind, and my heart was filled with tears of joy and gratitude. Yes. Today is the day our heavenly Father began to build this church—ANF—on December 2nd, 2018. Over these years, we have experienced times of joy and sadness, encouragement and disappointment, growth and retreat, laughter and tears, seasons of planting seeds and seasons of reaping fruit. And through it all, what can I say? Everything has been God’s grace and His love for us. I am so thankful and blessed to be on this journey of Jesus building His church with you. Thank you to everyone who has walked with me. My prayer is that when our journey comes to an end, you will all receive heavenly rewards even more than I do. I love you all. Happy seventh anniversary, ANF family.
2025 Thanksgiving Offering to the Poor
Dear ANF Family, During my Sunday message two weeks ago, I gave a message on how we can prepare our hearts for Thanksgiving in a biblical way that honors God. The Bible is very clear about what God wants us to do during Thanksgiving:
Life Bible Study
Hi ANF Family, Please find attached the schedule for the Life Bible Study classes this Fall. After returning from my sabbatical, I initially planned to start slowly by offering just one Bible study class. However, as I prayed for each of you and reflected on your yearly prayer requests, I felt deeply convicted by how many of you desire spiritual growth. This has inspired me to serve you more faithfully and diligently by offering two Bible study classes this season. If you haven’t taken any Bible study classes this year or if you’re seeking to deepen your relationship with God, I encourage you to take a moment to review the attached schedule. Ask God if He is leading you to join one of these classes. I hope this opportunity helps you grow stronger in your faith and build a closer walk with God.
