New Year’s Prayer & Fasting

When I was praying during the second day of our New Year Prayer and Fasting, God reminded me of a story in the Bible. In Acts 2:1-4, the disciples were waiting for the promise of Jesus: “I will send you the Helper.” While they were praying together, the day finally came, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.

Why couldn’t this be our story too? God gave me a heart of great expectation that the day will also come for us—it could even be tomorrow. I pray that we will all experience the Holy Spirit tomorrow.

During the Living Life Bible Study, we dedicate one day specifically to pray for experiencing the Holy Spirit. I encourage you to reflect beforehand: think about any sickness, wounds, or past traumas you want to be free from; any sins or resentments you want to overcome; any spiritual gifts you hope to receive; and any spiritual fruits you desire to bear. During the prayer time tomorrow, we can pray for these things together.

I want to encourage you all to come tomorrow with expectant hearts, believing that God will pour out His Holy Spirit upon us just as He did in Acts 2. Let us pray together and receive God’s healing, restoration, power, and victory. Even if you haven’t attended before, you are welcome—this is open to everyone.
