Lay Leaders Seminar Volunteers
Hi ANF Family,
Most of you are likely in bed by now. If you are feeling physically or mentally exhausted—if there are any "scars" left on your body or mind—I hope you can see them as the marks of Jesus Christ. Just as Paul confessed in Galatians, "I bear on my body the marks of Jesus," may you see your weaknesses—as we shared during Sunday worship (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)—as a testament to your love and sacrifice for God’s church.
I want to sincerely thank each one of you. You worked so hard for the Lay Leaders Seminar, serving with beautiful smiles and joyful hearts. While others may not fully see the extent of your sacrifices, our God—the God of Shalem—sees and remembers them all.
The purpose of this seminar was to help God’s people embrace Jesus’ vision for the church: to seek and save the lost and to make disciples, for Jesus is the head of the church. Based on the testimonies shared, it is clear the participants were deeply challenged and encouraged. They didn't just learn the biblical principles of the New Testament church; they witnessed them through your examples of love and service.
They have returned to their home churches filled with joy, vision, and a renewed passion to practice what they experienced at ANF. I heard that a few participants were critical or unreceptive, which may have been difficult for you. Please, do not be discouraged. We have planted the seeds of the New Testament church, and it is God who will make them grow in His perfect timing.
I am so proud of you and feel blessed to be your pastor as we build Jesus’ church together.
Good night everyone, and love you all.
