2026 Ministry Guide

Hi ANF Church,

Thank you so much for your heart and willingness to serve in the ministries of ANF as we seek to build up His church together. I am truly grateful for each of you. Before we announce the ministry assignments for the next two years, I would like to share a few important thoughts and encouragements.

First, the most important ministry we are all called to is reaching out to VIPs and helping them grow closer to Jesus Christ. At ANF, we pursue this calling primarily through our House Church ministry. Because of this, I do not want church ministries to replace or overshadow our primary calling to pray for, reach out to, love, and serve VIPs.

Second, I would like to share a simple analogy. In soccer, some players are assigned as forwards, others as defenders, and others as goalkeepers. Not everyone plays the position they personally prefer, but each role is essential for the team to function well. In the same way, you may not be assigned to every ministry you originally signed up for. Although I had encouraged you to reach out to me after signing up to confirm your ministries, only a few did so. Even so, please know that I have prayed and, as your pastor, have done my best to place each person where they can be best equipped for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up (Ephesians 4:12–13).

Third, for those who signed up for many ministries, I intentionally did not assign you to all of them. This decision was made out of care for you—so that you may have balance in your life and, most importantly, have the time and capacity to invest in VIPs. At the same time, there are still a few ministries that need additional servants, such as building maintenance and the food ministry, just to name a couple. If God places it on your heart to serve in any of these areas, please let me know.

Fourth, if you have any questions about the details or expectations of your ministry, please feel free to reach out to me, the ministry leader, or your team leader (especially for team-based ministries such as the food team or newcomer ministry).

Lastly, let us remember that we do not serve for the sake of ministry itself. We serve God, the church, and the world through these ministries. What God looks for in those who serve is faithfulness (1 Corinthians 4:2). My hope and prayer is that we will continue to build up ANF together with hearts full of gratitude, joy, and faithfulness.

Thank you again for your love for God and His church.
