How to Serve VIPs (Part 2)
Luke 19:10, Luke 14:16-23
How can we serve the VIPs better?
1. To acknowledge what God can do and what I cannot do (last week’s sermon)
2. To pray and ask God to help:
In Luke 14: 16-20: the people who were invited make excuses and reject the invitation. The servants when they can’t invite the guests, they come back and report to their master.
Similarly, when we invite our VIPs, they make excuses and don’t show up, so what can we do for them? We cannot force them to come to HC or to accept Christ, so for the things that we cannot do, we admit it and pray to our Father God to help us. Also, we need to pray for our VIPs
3. Last week’s sermon was about things we can’t do, but there are things that we can do:
In Luke 14: 21-23 the servants were told to go somewhere and invite different people to the banquet; they didn’t invite those who rejected them the first time.
Therefore, there are 2 types of service we can do for our VIPs:
Pray for people who are not willing to come (VIPs)
Go and invite for those who are waiting for our invitation
