Inclement Weather

Hi ANF,

Let’s stay at home tonight again. I’m at church now. I drove in this morning to check the roads. The snow has started to melt, but some areas are still slippery. Also, driving at night will be more difficult. With freezing temperatures tonight, it’s best for your safety that we don’t meet at church. I’ll also be heading home before it gets dark.

Last night, I went to my son’s room at 7:30 and spent an hour praying with praise music in the background. I encourage you all to spend intentional time in prayer on your own. During this time, meditate on the Word, pray for your prayer partners, bring your personal prayer requests for the year, and listen for what God wants to speak to you. After your hour of prayer, you can break your fast. Although we’ll all be in different places, I believe the same Holy Spirit will work in our lives—both personally and as a church.

Also, there will be no Saturday Morning Devotion tomorrow due to the weather. Everything will resume as normal starting tomorrow afternoon. I’m making this decision because I trust you to make the most of this time.
